Credit bureau contacts & resources

Everything on this page is free and official: direct phone lines and mailing addresses for the three bureaus, where to get your reports at no cost, the federal channels that force a written answer, and a trusted pro for people who want the work done for them. No sign-up, no email, no charge.

The three credit bureaus

Your score is built from three separate files. Fixing your credit means dealing with each one directly — by phone, online, or by certified mail. Keep the mailing addresses: a written dispute with copies of your documents creates a paper trail that a phone call does not.

Equifax

One of the three nationwide consumer reporting agencies.

TransUnion

The third nationwide bureau — its free Service Center handles freezes and disputes.

Phone numbers, hours, and dispute addresses are published by each bureau for consumers. Hours can change and lines close on major U.S. holidays, so confirm on the bureau's own site if you're calling about something time-sensitive.

Get your reports free

Never pay for a report you can get free. Federal law entitles you to your credit reports from all three bureaus at no cost, and the free weekly access that began during the pandemic was made permanent.

AnnualCreditReport.com

The only federally authorized source for your free reports from all three bureaus. Weekly access to your Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion reports is free and permanent. This is where you start.

Experian (free app + FICO Score 8)

A free Experian credit report and FICO Score 8, refreshed monthly. Useful for tracking your progress between rounds of disputes without paying for a monitoring service.

Equifax free report line

Equifax offers additional free credit reports each year beyond your AnnualCreditReport.com access — call the line or request them on the site.

Watch out for look-alike sites that charge a "report" fee or enroll you in a monitoring subscription. AnnualCreditReport.com is the only federally authorized source.

When a bureau or lender won't fix it

The bureaus answer to federal agencies. A complaint filed with the CFPB is a legal record — the company has to respond in writing, and a second dispute usually moves faster once it's open.

Consumer Financial Protection Bureau

If a bureau or lender won't correct an error, file a complaint free. The company must respond in writing, usually within 15 days. Attach your dispute history and the report pages involved.

Done-for-you help

The Blueprint gives you the system and the scripts — and most people can run it themselves. But the process is time-heavy: certified mail, 30-day investigation windows, and repeated follow-ups on every item. For those who would rather invest in having someone do all of the work, this is a pro we point people to.

Recommended credit specialist

Lawrence Manadom

Kings of Wealth LLC

Some people don't need more information — they need someone to run the process for them. Lawrence Manadom, founder of Kings of Wealth LLC, works with people who want the work handled end to end: pulling and auditing all three reports, preparing and sending dispute letters, following up with creditors and bureaus, and keeping the file monitored until the report reflects the truth.

Best fit if

  • You have the income but not the hours — disputes, certified mail, and 30-day follow-ups pile up fast.
  • You've already tried on your own and the bureaus keep coming back "verified" on items you know are wrong.
  • You want one person accountable for the whole file instead of doing three separate bureaus by yourself.
  • You'd rather pay for someone else's experience than spend a year learning the mechanics.

Ask before you hire anyone

  • Get the scope in writing: exactly which items, which bureaus, and what happens if an item isn't removed.
  • Ask for the total cost and timeline up front. Under federal law, a credit repair company can't charge before the work is done.
  • Ask how progress is reported and who actually does the work — Lawrence himself or a junior team.
  • Ask what you still have to do: some items (old public records, late payments that are accurate) take strategy, not letters.

How this works

Kings of Wealth LLC is an independent company. It is not owned, operated, or paid to run this site, and it is not part of the $27 Blueprint. Your purchase of the Blueprint does not include their services, and any agreement you make with them is between you and them. You don't need the Blueprint to contact them — and you don't need them to use the Blueprint.

You can reach Lawrence Manadom directly at 678-207-8865 or Kingsofwealth87@gmail.com.

Want to run it yourself?

The 720 Credit Blueprint is the same system in one document — how each score is calculated, the dispute templates, the exact call scripts, the utilization plays, and a working action plan. Instant PDF download, $27 one-time, no subscription.

Educational content only. Not financial or legal advice. Contact details listed here are published by the bureaus themselves and by the named specialist; they can change, so verify on the official site before sending documents.
